Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Every year the members of EBU meet at the General Meeting. This is held at a different European Buddhist centre every year. At this meeting we usually have a specific theme for discussion as well as one or two invited guest speakers. As part of this event we hold our AGM. This comprises reports from the executive committee and from other commitees, financial report and new membership applications.
We also usually organise an outing for all participants to enjoy some of the sights of the area where we are meeting.
It is a great opportunity for Buddhists from all over Europe and from different traditions to meet, get to know each other and discuss aspects of Buddhism.
This year the Meeting will take place near Budapest in Hungary. The dates are 23rd - 25th September 2010.
Attending the AGM
The AGMs are for members only, but it is possible to be invited to attend the meetings as guest/observer. If you are interested in doing so, please contact one of the members of the Administrative Council of EBU (Contact us).
