AGM 2005 - Notice
It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the 2005 Annual Genaral Meeting of the EBU. As we agreed at the last AGM, this AGM will be held from Friday 23rd September in the evening until Sunday 25th at noon. The 2005 AGM will take place in the Centre of the Buddhist Mission in Poland, in Szczecin. Being in Poland, Szczecin is closed to Berlin (2 hours of train from the airport) and easy to reach. The next meeting of Western Buddhist Teachers will be held at the same place, after the AGM.

Lodging and food
We will use for AGM a very convenient Teachers Center the address of the Center is Ulica Slaska 4. The Center has rooms for 1, 2 and 3 persons. The Center is on the same street as The Buddhist Mission, so it takes about 1 minute walk from one building to the other. You do not need to bring your own blankets and bed sheets or sleeping bag.
Food will be vegetarian.
Cost: 25 € per day for lodging and food.
Travel directions
The city of Szczecin is about 100 km north east of Berlin. There are many trains from Berlin every day.
By car: From Berlin you take Highway A11/E28 direction Prenzlau/Szczecin. It is very easy since the highway will take you directly to Szczecin. From the border direct yourself right to the downtown, to Plac Grunwaldzki.
By plane: The nearest airport is Berlin, please take a train from there - direction Szczecin. There are also many bus services, and the airport information may give you directions. There is an airport in Szczecin as well, so if you could find a flight to Szczecin then from the airport you will be taken to the downtown and arrive 5 minutes walk from the Teachers Center, which is on ul. Slaska 4.
By train: From Berlin Ostbhanhof or Berlin-Lichtenberg.

Berlin-Lichtenberg: 10:38, 12:38, 14:38, 18:38,
It takes approximately 2 up to 2,5 hours by train to Szczecin. Mostly you have to change the train once on the way, however it is very simple, since the next train is waiting for passengers and leaves from the same platform. The Polish and German crew is used to tourists so they are helpful and you could not be lost.
Directions in the city.
Train station. We will arrange in the main hall a place of meeting for arriving guests. Therefore please inform us in time by email about your arrival time. Please look for the person with the hand poster with big letters EBU 2005, the person who will hold it will help you to get to the Center. In the case you cannot see anyone please call 488 0289 or 0694 – 231 420.
Car. Go straight to downtown to Plac Grunwaldzki, the main square in the downtown. Go around slowly by car, unless you will see the person with the hand poster with the big letters EBU 2005 this person will show you direction.

AGM 2004
This year (2004), the Meeting will take place at the Karma Kagyu Centre Kündröl Püntsokling, from 26th - 29th September, immediately following the AGM. The Centre is located near Munich, Germany.
